IHM FRANCE® was founded after the separation from Annecy Electronique. The company began in 1973 with the creation of a printed circuit board manufacturing department by Alain Gyullot. This was then strongly consolidated over 17 years under the management of Bernard Wintz. After the takeover by Stéphane Sorlin in 1995, the company specialized in the manufacture of screen printing products, keyboards and intelligent control systems.
On June 1, 2014, IHM FRANCE® was acquired by the parent company FIMOR, based in Le Mans, in order to contribute its experience in the production of printed circuit boards and flexible keyboards. This completed the range of industrial keyboards in the group. The acquisition is accompanied by the creation of a public limited company with a capital of €300'000 based in Le Mans. The production site in St. Jorioz and its staff as well as its management by Mr. Didier Roger were retained.
