Enclosures for machine controls from Hammond Mfg

Despite the trend in smart factories to intelligent functional machine control from centralised or dispersed management systems, it is remains important that machines can be locally controlled or powered off when needed, so local pushbuttons are a key safety element in the factory environment.

Hammond's pushbutton enclosures are designed to house 22 or 30mm pushbuttons to provide local control and emergency shut-down of production machinery. They are also ideal for housing status indicator lights, which are also available in standard 22 and 30mm sizes. Hammond manufactures 11 different families in a variety of sealing levels and materials, enabling the optimum solution for the operating environment and the application  to be specified from standard products. Our pushbutton and indicator light enclosures are available as standard with either 22mm mounting holes for European pushbuttons or 30mm ones for North American size buttons, switches and indicator lights. Many of our pushbutton enclosures are UL certified to NEMA sealing standards.
