Comprehensive hand held enclosure from 1593 series (Hammond)
The 1593 is one of the most versatile plastic enclosure families. Moulded from general purpose ABS, the numerous options in the range meet the varying requirements for a general-purpose hand-held instrument housing. There are versions with two end panels, or one end panel and an integral battery compartment. The removable end panels are available in four standard versions: plain or contoured plastic panels, IR transparent panels or plain aluminium panels. The versions without a battery compartment are designed to meet IP54. 15 sizes, from 60 x 105 x 35mm to 140 x 66 x 28mm, are all available in three colours: black, grey or translucent blue. One size, the 1593N, is specifically designed to accept most commercially available card readers.
